Virtual Programming
Students in the West Bend High Schools will have the option to successfully complete a virtual physical education and health course that is aligned to Wisconsin state standards, utilizes best instructional practices and is taught by highly trained and qualified staff in a well managed virtual environment by the second semester of the 2008-2009 school year.
Students in the West Bend School District will be able to select from ten virtual courses for the 2009-2010 school year that will fulfill high school graduation requirements, aligned to Wisconsin state standards, utilizes best instructional practices and are taught by highly trained and qualified staff in a well managed virtual environment. The ten courses that will be developed and offered will be based upon the identified needs of the curriculum teams.
Students in the graduating class of 2015 will be required to successfully complete a virtual course offered by the West Bend School District to meet high school graduation requirements.
Students will benefit from the continued expansion of the virtual program both internally and externally.
